After years of experimenting with the striking material, and making one-off and unique pieces for herself and others, Davids has finally taken the plunge and translated her passion into a collection of sultry pieces and the launch of her new business. From statement puff-sleeve maxi dresses, bra’s, long maxi dresses to delicate chokers, Rubber Mommy Latex caters to those who appreciate the unique confidence that latex apparel can bring.

The brand boasts a range of collections, each made from exclusive latex sheets. With ranges already including ARACHNIDA, for instance, explores a darkly alluring aesthetic, while AQUATOFANA channels a more aquatic vibe. The recently unveiled FRANKLIN collection draws inspiration from the US $100 bill with an eye-catching money motif, piquing the curiosity of fashion enthusiasts.

Aiming to raise the Dutch brands profile, Rubber Mommy recently made their debut in the GFB fashion show as the designer staged a captivating catwalk presentation that showcased the spectacle and artistry inherent in her designs.

Speaking exclusively to us here at Latex24/7 about the runway show, Rubber Mommy Latex owner and designer Jasmine Davids explained that the “focus was on showing what interesting unique pieces Rubber Mommy Latex can do.”

With latex models including Myriel Monastic, Stephanie O’Hare and Kat Bee walking the runway, the unique and eye-catching designs were on show for the capacity crowd to feast their eyes on.

The runway debut showcased the brand’s ability to craft both showstopping statement pieces and a ready-to-wear collection poised to take the online world by storm.
