The magazine’s cover features Roberts in a head-to-toe black latex ensemble. The outfit, a full-length all black strapless latex dress was paired with the ultimate latex accessory, a set of red latex opera gloves. Combined with a set of red boots, and with her bold red lips, Roberts’ signature style shines through and showcases the elegance of simplistic latex outfits which can be both edgy and sophisticated.

Nicola was, of course, also joined by the other members of Girls Aloud, Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle, photographed by Will Beach.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Nicola and the rest of her fellow Girls Aloud band members embracing latex fashion. Recent publicity for their appearance at Brighton Pride showcased the singers all looking stunning in latex clothing.

And throughout their current tour, latex has been a common inclusion for their stage outfits.

The latex trend is clearly here to stay, and Roberts’ cover look is sure to add fuel to the fire. Latex is a material that can be both seductive and empowering, and Roberts perfectly captures both of these qualities.
